Scope of Work - 
Radiology Department in assisting, X-Rays, Ultrasonography, CT Scans, ECGs and MRIs in stand-alone x ray labs or hospitals, nursing homes or clinics.
Primary Role - 
The primary role  of a radiologic technologist (also called an x-ray technologist or radiographer) is using medical imaging equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels and, with advanced training, assisting in the administration of radiation therapy treatments.

Primary Responsibility - 
The primary responsibility  of an X-ray technician is to take X-rays of patient’s tissue, organs and bones to evaluate for possible injury or illness. You will need a license or certification from a state-approved program to take X-rays. Before, during, and after the X-ray, you will have to observe the equipment to make sure that it is working properly. This will involve adjusting dials to make sure the machine is set at the proper voltage and radiation levels.

• explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
• Preparing equipment for use as needed.
• Preparing examination rooms for patient exams.
• Positioning patients for imaging exams.
• Monitoring patients during examinations.
• Documenting information with computers.
